If you are looking for an easy, no-bake dessert that will be everyone's favorite, you have to make this smores snack mix. It is always a crowd favorite whenever I bring it to parties!
You'll love this s'mores snack mix
It's easy to make. You are going to absolutely LOVE making this smores snack mix. Not only is it so easy to make, it's so delicious. Whenever I bring this places, people love it, and the bowl is always empty by the end of the party. Plus, it's also a great snack mix for your next at-home movie night, too!
It's a no-bake dessert. Who doesn't love a simple, no-bake dessert, especially in the summer! Nobody wants to turn their oven on, but you still gotta make some sweet treats.
Ingredients
Golden Grahams. I use Golden Grahams, but you can use any honey graham squares cereal, it doesn't have to be name-brand!
Mini Marshmallows. I like using mini marshmallows for this recipe, and I recommend you do the same! The clusters are much more user-friendly using miniature marshmallows instead of big normal-sized fluffy marshmallows.
Hershey Chocolate Squares. You need the Hershey's chocolate squares in a s'mores mix! The chocolate pieces are what makes this mix.
Chocolate Chips. I use two bags of milk chocolate chips for this recipe. I melt the chocolate and then pour it all over the mixture. Don't worry about the melted chocolate melting the Hershey's chocolate! But the melted chocolate is what makes the little s'mores clusters and it's so delicious.
How to make s'mores snack mix
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pour your golden grahams, mini marshmallows, and Hershey chocolate squares on to the parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Melt 2 bags of chocolate chips according to the directions on the packaging.
- Pour the melted chocolate over your cereal, marshmallows, and Hershey's chocolate mix.
- Very carefully, mix together so the chocolate is (somewhat) evenly coating the mix.
- Place in the fridge and allow to cool for at least 2 hours.
- Once chilled and the melted chocolate is hardened, break the mix up into little clusters.
Substitutions and variations
Golden Grahams. If you don't have any sort of graham cracker cereal, you can also use Teddy Grahams! I recommend using the honey grahams, or you can do a mix of the chocolate and honey grahams.
Hershey's Chocolate. You can also use chocolate chips or mini milk chocolate Kisses as a substitute for Hershey's.
What to serve with this smores snack mix
Cocktails. If you're looking for a little cocktail pairing, you can never go wrong with pairing s'mores with peanut butter. I love these 10 cocktails to make with Skrewball.
Desserts. If you're looking to add to the dessert spread, you can also make this chocolate drizzled popcorn, Fruity Pebble treats, or chocolate peanut butter Rice Krispie treats.
