You'll love these St. Germain Cocktails

They are so easy to make. St. Germain is one of those magical ingredients that instantly elevates a drink without requiring any extra effort. You do not need to be a bartender to make these cocktails look and taste impressive.

The flavor is unlike anything else. St. Germain has this light, sweetly floral taste with hints of pear, citrus, and a touch of honeysuckle. It is genuinely hard to describe until you taste it, but once you do, you will understand why it is a staple at every great bar.

They are perfect for entertaining. Whether you are hosting a dinner party, a brunch, a girls' night, or a holiday gathering, these elderflower cocktails are always a crowd-pleaser. They look fancy, taste incredible, and take minutes to put together.

    The Best St. Germain Cocktails

Gin, vodka, tequila, champagne, prosecco, whiskey. St. Germain plays nicely with all of them, which means there is a St. Germain cocktail for every single mood, occasion, and season.

What kind of alcohol is St-Germain?

St. Germain is a French elderflower liqueur, which means it is a sweetened alcoholic spirit infused with the flavor of elderflowers. Each bottle of St. Germain contains the blossoms from roughly 1,000 hand-picked flowers harvested every spring. The ABV is 20%, which puts it on the lighter side compared to most spirits like vodka or gin.

    Can you drink St-Germain straight?

Yes, you absolutely can! St. Germain is smooth, balanced, and not overpowering on its own, which makes it a great option for sipping neat or over ice.

Are St-Germain and Cointreau the same?

They are not the same, but they do play similar roles in cocktails. Both are sweet liqueurs used to add flavor and sweetness to drinks, and both can sometimes be swapped for one another in a pinch. The big difference is the flavor profile. Cointreau is an orange liqueur, so it brings that bright citrus flavor you know from classic margaritas and cosmos. St. Germain, on the other hand, is all about that light floral elderflower flavor with subtle notes of pear and citrus.

If a recipe calls for Cointreau and you want to sub in St. Germain, just know that the flavor will shift from citrusy to floral.

What to make with these St. Germain cocktails

If you're looking for a sweet and spicy appetizer to pair with these cocktails, you can always make this Red Pepper Jelly Baked Brie. Plus, it comes together in no time, making it perfect for a last-minute get-together. So many of these cocktails are so refreshing and perfect for summer. Here are all my tips and tricks for making the best Summer Charcuterie Board.

    Pin it for later!
