It’s perfect for winter! I know that I love a good red wine in the winter, so this Lambrusco spritz is the perfect cold-weather twist on a classic spritz.
Ingredients
Aperol or Campari. I used Aperol for this recipe, but you can use either!
Lambrusco. Grab yourself a bottle of Lambrusco at your local grocery store! You can typically find Lambrusco near the sparkling wines or red wines.
Orange Juice. I like to add just a bit of freshness to this spritz with fresh orange juice.
Soda Water. Like any spritz recipe, you end it with a splash of soda water.
How to make a Lambrusco spritz
- Stir, garnish, and enjoy!
- Fill a wine glass up with ice.
- Add in 3 oz of Lambrusco, 2 oz of Aperol, 2 oz of orange juice, and 1 oz of soda water.
Substitutions and variations
Orange Juice. If you don’t have orange juice, you don’t have to include it. Alternatively, you can use grapefruit juice or a splash of lemon juice.
Soda Water. You don’t have to include soda water if you don’t want to! Alternatively, you can use flavored soda water to take this spritz to the next level.
