Ingredients
Here's what you'll need for this frozen peach bellini.
Frozen Peaches. I prefer to use frozen peaches instead of fresh peaches and ice. I find it gives the prosecco cocktail a smoother consistency and you don't get your drink watered down.
Prosecco. You can use whatever prosecco is your favorite, but whenever you're mixing prosecco, you don't have to necessarily break the bank with the prosecco you use. I like to use Kirkland prosecco. I used Mionetto for this recipe, we had a bottle in the fridge!
Why is it called Peach Bellini?
This drink was named after the Venetian painter Giovanni Bellini. It was given that name by Guiseppe Cipriani, who said the drink's color reminded him of the warm tones that Bellini used in his artwork.
