Prepping cocktails for Easter brunch
If you are hosting Easter brunch, here are some tips on prepping cocktails for your guests to make sure everyone has a good time.
- Syrups + Juices. Syrups, like the strawberry simple syrup I mentioned for the strawberry lemon drop, or juices, like grapefruit juice for grapefruit mimosas, can be prepped a day or two in advance. Just be sure you store them in an airtight container in the fridge. I love using these jars!
- Prep the Drinkware. Whether you are using disposable cups or glasses, be sure that you're either stocked up on plastic glasses or your drinkware is clean and ready to go.
- Get Your Bar Ready. You can easily set out glassware, (empty) tubs for ice or bowls for garnishes, or any drink ingredients that don't need to be refrigerated a day or two before, so then when it comes to hosting Easter brunch, you just need to put the finishing touches on the day of.
- Ice! Be sure to have plenty of ice! I'd always rather have more ice than not enough.
