Tips for making Valentine's Day cocktails
Whether you're hosting a party or just want to prep some ingredients for an at-home date night, here are some of my tips for you!
Prep juices + syrups. For any recipe that calls for fresh juice or simple syrups (like this strawberry syrup is so perfect!) you can prep those a day or two ahead of time. Just be sure you store them in an airtight container in the fridge.
Batch cocktails. If you are making a cocktail that doesn't have any fizzy ingredients, like this Aperol Martini, you can absolutely batch it a few days in advance! That way, it's ready to pour and enjoy on Valentine's Day.
What to make with these Valentine's Day cocktails?
If you're looking to create more of a happy hour vibe, I love this burrata caprese, Boursin-stuffed mushrooms, or a baked brie with pepper jelly.
If you're looking to cook an at-home date night dinner, this is my go-to marinara sauce, and it pairs perfectly with my dad's homemade meatball recipe. I'm biased, but they are seriously the BEST homemade meatballs.
