You'll love these Nutella chocolate chip cookies.

It's like chocolate overload. The combination of the chocolate chips and the Nutella center makes for seriously the best cookie ever.

They're perfectly crisp yet chewy. The outsides are perfectly crisp and the inside is soft and gooey with the Nutella.

They're so easy to make! Seriously, so easy! Don't let these Nutella stuffed cookies think you have to be some baking master to whip up.

Can you make cookies with Nutella?

    Um, yes and you should.

    Ingredients

Nutella. I prefer to use the Nutella brand as opposed to any other hazelnut spread. However, you can use whatever you prefer.

Flour. I recommend using all-purpose flour. Baking is a science and I've yet to try this recipe with cake flour, bread flour or any other kind of flour.

Baking Powder. This helps the cookies rise.

Butter. Make sure your butter is room temperature, it'll make for the best quality of a cookie consistency.

Sugars. I always like a ratio of more brown sugar to granulated sugar in my chocolate chip cookie recipes, it gives them a chewier texture and a richer flavor.

Eggs. You need an egg as a binding agent to add richness but keep everything together.

Vanilla. Of course, you need that splash of vanilla in any dessert! It totally elevates all the flavors.

Chocolate Chips. Naturally, you'll need chocolate chips for this Nutella chocolate chip cookie recipe. I like using a combination of semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips.

    • Cover with a towel and place in your fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes.
    • Once your dough has chilled, preheat your oven to 350F° and prepare your cookie sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
    • Making and baking 4 cookies at a time, take 4 Nutella balls out of the freezer.
    • Scoop out a spoonful (about 1 tbsp) of dough, create an indent in the middle of your dough, place the frozen Nutella in the middle, and take a half spoonful of dough to place on top. Pinch the sides to make sure the dough ball is closed and roll into a circle using the palms of your hands.
    • Place your 4 dough balls on your parchment paper-lined cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Pull the cookies out of the oven and let them sit for 3 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.

Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies Tips & Tricks

Freezing the Nutella. You absolutely have to freeze your Nutella to get that perfectly ooey gooey inside, but also to save your sanity. These cookies will be impossible to make if you don't freeze it!

Getting the perfectly round cookie. Need to get a perfectly round cookie? While your cookies are still hot, take a glass, and with the perfectly round opening, place that over your cookie and make circular motions until your cookie is round.
