They're so easy to make. If you've never made air fryer chicken wings before, you will seriously be so hooked! You can cook the most perfect crispy chicken wings without frying. This is such a fool-proof recipe that you'll love to make on repeat.
They're so crispy. These are perfectly crispy on the outside and the most delicious juicy wings on the inside. The air fryer method creates the perfect crispy outside without having to deep fry in oil. Plus, the best part, is that air frying wings is absolutely fool-proof. All you have to do is to be sure to flip the wings halfway through cooking and they turn out perfectly every single time.
They're absolutely delicious. The garlic and parmesan cheese combo is one of my favorites. Especially if you don't like heat like if buffalo sauce is too much for you, this garlic parmesan combo is perfect for you.
Ingredients
Chicken Wings. For the best results, be sure to use paper towels to pat your chicken wings dry. If your chicken wings come whole, be sure to cut them into drumsticks and flats.
Parmesan Cheese. I use powdered parmesan cheese, however, you can use fresh parmesan cheese. If you use fresh parmesan cheese, you'll want to increase the amount of salt you use by double.
Garlic Powder. I like how garlic powder cooks versus fresh garlic for these crispy garlic parmesan wings. You still get that delicious garlic flavor, but don't risk the fresh garlic burning in the air fryer.
Onion Powder. I love the combination of garlic powder and onion powder, they are like a dynamic duo. So, naturally, I added a bit of onion powder to this dry rub.
Olive Oil. Olive oil will help get that crisp on the cooked wings, and it'll also help the garlic parmesan coating stick to the wings.
Corn Starch. Corn starch, along with olive oil, will be the key ingredient to really get you those crispy wings that taste as though they just came out of the deep fryer. This is essential for all the air fryer chicken wing recipes.
Kosher Salt. Of course, with any chicken recipe, you'll need to add salt. I added about ½ teaspoon of salt because I used the parmesan powder.
Black Pepper. I added just about a ½ teaspoon of black pepper to really round out the flavors.
