Ingredients

Gin. I recommend using a dry gin; Tanqueray or Beefeater are always two of my favorites.

Pomegranate Juice. I always buy Pom Pomengranate juice! It's easy to find in my grocery store, and I love all the variations it has. For example, if you want to give this a twist, try using their Pomegranate Cherry Juice.

Lime Juice. I love just a splash of fresh lime juice to add some zest and cut the sweetness from the pomegranate juice and tonic water.

Tonic Water. Just a splash of tonic water to give this drink some fizz!

How to make a pomegranate gin fizz

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine your gin, pomegranate juice, and lime juice.
  2. Add ice and shake vigorously.
  3. Strain into a glass over fresh ice. Top with tonic water.
  4. Garnish and enjoy!

Substitutions and variations

Ginger Beer. If you want to sub out the tonic water for ginger beer, that'll give this drink such a fun holiday twist.

Lemon Juice. If you don't have limes, feel free to use lemon juice!

Cranberry Juice. If you don't have pomegranate juice, you can also use cranberry juice! Now, it won't be a pomegranate gin fizz, but it'll still be delicious and perfect for the holidays.
Prosecco. If you really want to get crazy celebrating the holidays, sub out tonic water with prosecco!
