What’s a Vampire Kiss?

A Vampire's Kiss cocktail is a combination of vodka, Chambord raspberry liqueur, cranberry juice, and a splash of grenadine. It is the perfect red color for Halloween, and it's a cocktail on the sweeter side. All these ingredients together bring you that beautiful red color, no food coloring is needed! 

What’s in the Vampire’s Kiss cocktail?

Here's what you'll need for the Vampire's Kiss Halloween cocktail.

Vodka. I have really grown fond of Van Gough vodka, but use whatever plain vodka is your favorite!

Raspberry Liqueur. The most popular raspberry liqueur you may know of is Chambord. That's what I used for this recipe. 

Cranberry Juice. I like using unsweetened cranberry juice for a bit of bitterness and beautiful color. 

Grenadine. I always use Rose's grenadine. However, you can use whatever brand you have. 

Dry Champagne.​ It's fun to add a bit of bubbles to any cocktail and I love adding dry champagne or prosecco to this festive drink.

How to make this Halloween martini recipe.

Here's how to make a Vampire's Kiss drink.

• In a shaker combine all your ingredients.
• Add 3-4 ice cubes and shake until frosted.
• Strain into a martini glass or coupe.
• Garnish with vampire's teeth.

Substitutions and variations

Vodka.​ If you really want to make this a fruity vodka cocktail, you can use raspberry vodka or vanilla vodka for a sweeter twist. 

Juice. If you don't have or don't like cranberry juice, you can still make this drink for your next Halloween party! You can use cherry juice or pomegranate juice in this Vampire's Kiss cocktail recipe. 

Champagne.​ You can always add a bit of bubble with sparkling water instead of prosecco or champagne. 

Dry ice. make this an extra spooky drink to get yourself in the Halloween spirit and add some dry ice to the drink! It'll give you that perfect foggy smoke that goes with any Halloween theme.
