It's so easy! With some fresh strawberries, Aperol, and time, you can easily make homemade strawberry-infused Aperol!
It's such a fun twist on Aperol. I love the sweetness the berries add to that bitter orangey Aperol taste.
Ingredients
Fresh Strawberries. Of course, you'll need fresh strawberries for this recipe, which is why I say it's perfect for summer. Strawberries are in peak season, so juicy, sweet, and ripe. They add such a great flavor to the Aperol.
Aperol. You'll need Aperol, and because Aperol is really it's own standalone liquor, there aren't that many substitutions. However, I'm still sharing a few variations below!
How to make strawberry infused Aperol
- First, you'll want to make sure you have room in your Aperol bottle, or you can use a jar.
- Slice 10-12 strawberries, and either place them in your Aperol bottle, or jar.
- If you are using a jar, fill your jar up with Aperol.
- Refrigerate your infused Aperol for 3-5 days, strain the strawberries, and pour the infused Aperol back into the bottle or jar.
- Store in the fridge, and make all your favorite strawberry Aperol cocktails!
