If you love Skrewball, you’ll love this peanut butter and jelly shot recipe.

It’s easy to make. This pb&j shot is 3 simple ingredients and couldn't be easier to make for all the amateur home bartenders.

It actually tastes like a PB and J sandwich. The Skrewball peanut butter whiskey with Chambord liqueur tastes like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! It's such a fun combination and some seriously tasty shots.

It’s delicious over ice, too. If you want to turn this peanut butter jelly shot into a drink, you can absolutely pour it over ice and sip on it.

    What is peanut butter whiskey?

Peanut butter whiskey is exactly what it sounds like, it is peanut or peanut butter-infused whiskey. It's sweet with the perfect nutty peanut flavor.

    Ingredients

Peanut Butter Whiskey (Skrewball). Skrewball has a perfectly delicious peanut butter flavor that makes it the perfect base for this alcoholic shot.

Black Raspberry Liqueur (Chambord). This adds that fruity and almost "grape jelly" flavor that you need for peanut butter and jelly shots. You can use any fruit liqueur you'd like, I just prefer Chambord.

Salt. Skrewball and Chambord is so sweet and you need just a dash of salt to bring a bit of savoriness into this and have it genuinely taste like a pb&j sandwich.

How To Make A Peanut Butter and Jelly Shot

    1. In a cocktail shaker, add 1 ounce of peanut butter whiskey and 1 ounce of Chambord.
    2. Add ice and shake.
    3. Strain into a shot glass and cheers!

    Is Skrewball whiskey actually whiskey?

Yes! It’s actually a blend of whiskey combined with real peanuts and Skrewball’s blend of secret spices. Once you start making Skrewball cocktails, you'll love them!

    Variations

Fruit Liqueur. If you want a different jelly flavor to this shot, you can add strawberry liqueur to be "strawberry jelly" or grape liqueur to act like grape jelly.

Adding a mixer. You can add a mixer like grape soda to this drink to lower the alcohol content but still keep that fun adult twist on the peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Jello Shots. For this, you'll need 2 cups of water, 1 packet of plain gelatin, 1 packet of grape jello, Skrewball, and Chambord. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil, and whisk in your plain gelatin. Once dissolved, remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of Skrewball into your hot water and gelatin mixture. Pour into 20 jello-shot containers, and fill halfway. Place in the fridge and let them cool for at least 2 hours. Once cooled, bring your remaining cup of water to a boil and add your grape Jell-O. Whisk, remove from heat, and add in ½ cup of Chambord. Fill up the remaining half of the Jell-O shot cups. Place back into the fridge to cool for 2 more hours. It turns into a perfectly layered shot!

Can I turn this peanut butter and jelly shot into a drink?

Absolutely! It’s actually delicious if you want to sip it over ice. Simply pour the ingredients into a rocks glass, add ice and enjoy!

Can I make this a batched cocktail?

Yup! I have a batch of it on my bar cart at the moment. To make a 15 oz. serving pour 10 ounces of peanut butter whiskey and 5 oz. of Chambord into a pitcher (or an empty Skrewball bottle is what mine is in.) Pour 1.5 oz. servings when you’re ready for a shot!
