It’s delicious. I love the flavors of chai paired with the flavors of the espresso martini.
It’s easy to make. It comes together in no time! Additionally, if you don’t have an espresso machine, I’ve included alternative methods for making an espresso martini.
Ingredients
Vodka. Use plain vodka for an espresso martini recipe!
Coffee Liqueur. I have Kahlua stock in my home bar right now, but I also love Luxardo coffee liqueur if you’re looking for a recommendation! Kahlua is a bit sweeter.
Espresso. Use 1 shot, or 1 ½ oz of espresso. If you don’t have an espresso machine, I included some ways you can still make this chai espresso martini below!
Chai Concentrate. I love Tazo chai concentrate! You can find it in most stores, and you know it’s going to be good. Plus, no need to make a homemade chai simple syrup!
How to make a chai espresso martini
- To a cocktail shaker, add your vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and chai concentrate.
- Add ice and shake vigorously.

Irish Cream. You can always include a splash of Irish cream to make this a creamy chai espresso martini.
Chai Syrup. Making homemade chai simple syrup is incredibly easy. I love following this recipe.
