If you've been on TikTok and we have similar algorithms, you may have come across an Air Fryer Pasta Chips. They are so easy to make, and I didn't know if they were worth the hype... but they totally are. So, once again, this TikTok recipe is a win.
Now don't get it twisted, do I think this recipe was created on TikTok? No. But, I first came across this recipe on TikTok, so it's a new to me recipe. I've seen so many variations of pasta chips. Pasta tossed in olive oil with Italian Seasoning, buffalo sauce + ranch pasta chips, and even I made a honey BBQ.
How to make pasta chips in the air fryer
These truly couldn't be any easier to make. Boil your pasta according to the directions on the package. I used the LiveGFree Fusilli Pasta from Aldi. I'm trying to be a bit more gluten-free to try and get my gut health in shape, but I've seen these made with traditional pastas and I've seen a lot with Bow Tie (farfalle) and rigatoni.
After you cook your pasta according to direction, drain it and then toss it in your sauce and/or seasoning. Then, air fry it at 400 for 10 - 12 minutes. Be sure to shake it every 3 minutes or so to make sure that the pasta chips cook as evenly as possible.
