You'll love these peach vodka jello shots

They're easy to make. These are such easy jello shots to make when you're looking for something easy, flavorful, and boozy to bring to your next summer party.

They're perfect for a party. The orange color does make them perfect for a Halloween party, but the peach flavor is just so perfect for summer parties. It's such an easy adult-friendly treat to make and beat the summer heat.

They taste so nostalgic. I personally love gummy peach rings, which I use to top these yummy peach jello shots with, and these shots taste JUST LIKE peach candy rings!

    Ingredients

You only need a few simple ingredients to make these peach vodka jello shots!

Peach Jello. You can use whatever peach jello mixture you prefer, I personally use sugar-free, but you use whatever peach jello mix you prefer!

Water. To let the jello shot set properly, you do need boiling water to mix with the peach jello mixture.

Vodka. I use plain vodka, but I'm including some variations below that you could use based on your personal preference. If you want some alternate options, I included some options below for you!

Peach Candy Ring. These are a must when making these! It's the cutest little topper, and who doesn't love a little candy garnish?? You can also use fresh peach slices, too!

    Substitutions and variations

Stronger jello shot. If you want to make a stronger shot, you can lessen the amount of water used and increase the amount of alcohol used! Your liquid has to measure to 2 cups total of liquid. So, if you want to use ¾ cups of boiling water, 1 ¼ cups of vodka, you can do that. Alternatively, if you want a lighter jello shot, you can do the reverse of that and use more water than alcohol.

Flavored alcohol. I use plain, regular vodka for this recipe, but you can use a full cup of peach schnapps instead, Crown Royal Peach to make crown peach jello shots, or Smirnoff peach for super flavorful peach ring jello shots.

Fresh peach slice. You can also top this peach shot recipe with fresh peaches! They make for a great addition, and who doesn't love taking advantage of peach season?

Serving jello shots. I like making jello shot recipes in individual plastic condiment cups, however, you can also pour them into a 9x9 or 9x13 baking dish, slice them into squares, and place them in cupcake liners to serve.

    Tips for making jello shots

Pouring the jello shots. To make pouring the jello shots into shot glasses SO easy, I always recommend using a large measuring cup. It makes things SO much easier.

Transfer jello shots. Again to make things easier, I recommend lining up the plastic shot glasses on a baking sheet. Once the shots are poured and the individual lids are put on, place the baking sheet into the fridge to let the peach jello shots cool.

Preparing the cups. Once your jello mix is made, you want to have everything ready to go. I recommend having your shot cups lined up on a baking sheet before you even start boiling your water.

    FAQs

What is the best flavored vodka for jello shots?

It depends on your flavor of jello! I love doubling down on flavor, for example using peach vodka with peach jello. However, you can never go wrong with plain vodka for any jello shot recipe.

Does the vodka need to be cold for jello shots?

It doesn't need to be, but if you want to expedite the cooling process, I recommend using cold vodka!

    Pin it for later!
