This recipe is done in under 20 minutes, including prep time! Slice a few veggies, saute them with a store-bought curry simmer sauce, add in your ramen noodles and you are all set!
You can pack it with veggies. The more veggies, the better. That is my opinion. It is a way to make instant ramen noodles healthier.
What does curry ramen taste like?
Depending on what type of curry you use, it could taste a bit sweeter, or it could be spicy. Overall, it is a creamy combination of savory flavors like turmeric, ginger and garlic mixed with veggies and ramen noodles.
How do you add curry to ramen?
You can add curry powder, or, you can do what I do, which is cook together veggies, a curry simmer sauce and the ramen noodles.

Ingredients
4-5 cups chopped veggies. I always like to add a ton of chopped veggies to my instant ramen. It adds a bit more nutrients, and makes it a bit more of a meal.
Instant ramen. Of course, you need ramen noodles. If you want this to be a quick and easy recipe, I suggest using instant ramen. They cook in about 3 minutes!
Curry Sauce. I buy a curry simmer sauce from ALDI, you can make your own curry sauce or purchase your favorite store-bought brand. ALDI and Trader Joe's have some of my favorites.
Fresh Cilantro. I always like to add fresh cilantro to my curry. If you are not a cilatnro fan, you can absolutely omit this.
Fresh Lime. I always find that the fresh lime cuts the richness of the curry sauce and adds an extra layer of flavor dimension.
Is instant noodle curry ramen spicy?
It depends! That's the beauty of this recipe. You can make the curry as spicy or as mild as you like. The best part? You can always add sriracha or your favorite hot sauce to spice it up.
How to make this recipe
- Boil a pot of water to cook 2 of your instant ramen blocks. Once your water is boiling, cook your 2 ramen squares for 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large frying pan, saute your 4-5 cups of veggies with your 1 teaspoon granulated garlic and ¼ teaspoon granulated ginger. After 5-7 minutes, add in your curry simmer sauce and ¼ cup water.
- Add in your cooked ramen noodles, fresh cilantro and fresh lime juice. Stir well, and enjoy!

Instant Noodle Curry Ramen
Ingredients
- 2 large carrots chopped
- ½ yellow onion diced
- 4-5 mushrooms sliced
- ½ can corn rinsed and drained
- 1 15 oz. jar curry simmer saucd
- 2 packages of ramen noodles cooked
- 4 tablespoon cilantro diced
- ½ lime juiced
- Sriracha or your hot sauce of choice optional.
Instructions
