Currently: in a mental debate on whether or not I should start off this post with I’m dreaming of a white (sangria) Christmas. Either way, this holiday sangria is the bomb, and it should be made in a very large pitcher for every holiday party you have/attend.
When I was searching for holiday white wine sangria to get some ~inspiration, a lot of recipe called for sugar… and I was not about that. I don’t like my drinks sweet, so you cannot catch me adding sugar to white wine. Instead, I used La Croix (grapefruit flavored) to add some sweetness. Highly recommend using La Croix for all your sangria recipe needs.
So, this holiday sangria is basically a big ol’ bottle of of white wine (your choice), a cup of vodka per 750 mL of wine… aka your regular sized bottle of white wine. I used plain vodka, I didn’t get fancy. Because you’re more likely to have regular vodka in your cabinet. Easy peasy.
Definitely have this sangria sit for minimum 3 hours. You for sure want the rosemary to soak in so you get that touch of herb when you’re sippin’. The cranberries add no flavor, but I mean WHAT is a holiday drink without festive cranberries? It’s not a holiday drink at all.
