If you love the classic lemon drop martini, you'll love this raspberry twist on it! Raspberry lemon drop martinis are one of my favorite cocktails. They're so easy to make, and hit the spot every time!
You'll love this raspberry lemon drop
It's easy to make. With a few simple ingredients, a cocktail shaker, and your favorite martini glass, you can easily make this cocktail for happy hours or backyard parties.
It's refreshing. I love raspberry and lemon flavors together, it's like the quintessential summer! This cocktail does not disappoint. It's the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and zesty.
It can be made as a batched cocktail! Since there are no carbonated ingredients, this is so easy to make as a batched cocktail for your next party.
Ingredients
Limoncello. I like making my lemon drop martinis with limoncello! If you don't have limoncello, of course, you can use fresh lemon juice. I just prefer limoncello. If you've never tried making a lemon drop like that, I highly recommend it.
Vodka. A traditional lemon drop cocktail calls for vodka. If you don't like vodka, I've included some substitutions for you below! I just use Tito's Vodka, no need to get a super fancy vodka since you're mixing with different flavors!
Raspberry Syrup. Homemade raspberry syrup is so easy to make! I highly recommend making a batch and then you have it for your cocktails and other drinks!
Triple Sec. I use triple sec when making my lemon drop martinis, but you don't have to!
How to make a raspberry lemon drop
- In a cocktail shaker, add 1 oz limoncello, 1.5 oz vodka, 1 oz raspberry syrup, and .5 oz triple sec.
- Add fresh ice cubes, and shake until your cocktail shaker is frosted.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass, garnish, and enjoy!
Substitutions and variations
Limoncello. If you don't have limoncello, you can substitute it for lemon juice! If you like your cocktails sweeter, would recommend adding an extra .25 - .5 oz of raspberry simple syrup if that's the case. Limoncello is sweeter than fresh lemons, so you'll want to make up for that sweetness.
Vodka. You can sub out the vodka for gin, tequila, or bourbon! All three of those liquors go great with those lemon and raspberry flavors.
Triple Sec. If you don't have triple sec, I recommend just omitting that from the recipe!
Raspberry Syrup. If you don't have raspberries, although this won't be a raspberry lemon drop martini anymore, you can sub out for any and all of your favorite fresh fruits! I also love a good strawberry lemon drop martini.
Garnish ideas
Just because you make a cocktail at home doesn't mean you shouldn't garnish it! Here are some garnish ideas.

- Lemon Twist
