You’ll love this cranberry orange whiskey sour
It’s perfect for the holidays. Whether it’s Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, this cocktail is one of the perfect drinks to make for your holiday celebrations!
It’s easy to make. With just a few simple ingredients, this cranberry cocktail comes together in no time.
It can be made into a batched cocktail. Since there are no fizzy ingredients, this is a perfect recipe to make as a big batch cocktail for your holiday parties! I’ve included directions below for you!

Ingredients
Whiskey. You can use your favorite whiskey!
Cranberry Juice. Remember to get a cranberry cocktail, not tart cranberry juice! If you get tart cranberry juice, that’ll be way too tart and ruin your cocktail.
Orange Juice. I love fresh-squeezed, but sometimes life is just busy, and you don’t want to fresh-squeeze your OJ. In that case, if your grocery store offers fresh-squeezed juices, opt for that, or I love the Simply Orange brand!
Lemon + Lime Juice. To make a true whiskey sour, you need sour mix! An easy homemade sour mix is just a combination of lemon juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. For this cocktail, we’re using lemon and lime juice along with maple syrup.
Maple Syrup. Maple syrup completes the “sour” mix and also just adds that extra bit of fall flavor.

Substitutions and variations
Bourbon. Bourbon is technically whiskey, but you can use bourbon in this cocktail if that’s what you prefer! Use whatever whiskey you prefer to make cocktails with, whether that be whiskey, bourbon, scotch, or rye.
Ginger Beer. If you want to add a bit of spice and fizz, I love topping this with ginger beer.
Simple Syrup. If you don’t have maple syrup, you can always use simple syrup.
