You’ll love this Chambord spritz
It's easy to make. With just three ingredients, this Chambord cocktail comes together in no time! This is one of my favorite champagne cocktails.
It's delicious. It's the perfect balance of crisp, sweet and bubbly. It's delicious and you'll love it! Plus, who doesn't love a chance to make a fun sparkling cocktail?
What is Chambord?
Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur. You can find a bottle of Chambord at most liquor sections at your local grocery or alcohol store. Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur is most commonly found in the perfect French martini recipe. It can make some great cocktails, like this Chambord Spritz.
You can use it in other cocktail recipes like this PB&J shot, Fall Aperol Spritz, or raspberry champagne cocktail. Chambord is a home bar essential for me, and once you add it to your repetiteur, it will be for you, too!
Ingredients
Chambord. You can find Chambord at almost any liquor store! It'll typically be by other liqueurs such as limoncello, Aperol, or RumChata.
Sparkling Wine. I like to use prosecco simply because it is the most affordable when it comes to champagne versus prosecco.
Soda Water. Like any spritz cocktail recipe, you always need to add a splash of soda water to top it off.
How to make a Chambord Spritz?
- Fill a large wine glass with some ice.
- Pour in 3 ounces of prosecco, 2 ounces of Chambord raspberry liqueur, and 1 ounce of soda water.
- Give it a stir, garnish with fresh raspberries, and enjoy!
Can this be made into a batched cocktail?
Unfortunately, because two of the three ingredients are carbonated, I would not recommend making this as a batched cocktail. However, if you're hosting any party, like a Valentine's Day party, you can set up a spritz station so your guests can easily make this drink for themselves.
Garnish ideas
If you're looking for some garnish ideas for your Chambord cocktails, here are a few!
- Fresh Raspberries
- Fresh Blackberries
- Lime Wheel
- Rosemary Sprig
You can also add a bit of sparkle by using edible glitter for this drink. That would be so fun and perfect if you are making a holiday cocktail.
Substitutions and Variations
White Wine. If you don't have prosecco, or you don't like it, you can sub it out for a dry white wine instead. I recommend a crisp white wine like Pinot Grigio.
Lime Juice. If you want a bit of a citrus flavor, add a splash of fresh lime juice for a perfect drink.
Simple Syrup. If the drink isn't sweet enough for you, you can always add a splash of simple syrup.
Is Chambord and raspberry liqueur the same?
Yes! That would be similar to asking if Smirnoff and vodka are the same. Chambord is a French black raspberry liqueur.
What's a replacement for Chambord?
If you're looking for an affordable Chambord replacement, I recommend Di Amore Raspberry or Dekuyper Razzmatazz.
