Say hello to your new favorite fall cocktail.
It’s so nostalgic. It tastes just like a caramel apple, and I don't know about you but those are one of my favorite fall treats. So to have an adult version of it? I'm into it.
It’s so easy to make. Just two ingredients is all you need for this apple martini recipe!
It's perfect for all your fall parties. The great thing about this being two ingredients is that it makes for the perfect batch cocktail recipe! You can make a punch bowl or a huge batch of this drink for all your fall parties, like this apple cider martini, too!
What are the ingredients for a caramel apple martini?
It is super simple! I like making my caramel apple martini with apple cider and caramel vodka.
Apple Cider. The fresher, the better. Going to an apple orchard? Be sure to pick some up! I picked up a carton from my local grocery store.
Caramel Vodka. I use Van Gough Vodka, but you can find caramel vodka at any liquor store. I typically go to Binny's in the Chicagoland area for specialty flavored vodkas.
Is caramel vodka sweet?
It is! Not overly sweet, though. Paired with apple cider, those are two different types of sweets, in my opinion. So the drink isn't overly sweet, but I would consider it more of a "dessert drink" for sure.
How to make a caramel apple martini.
- In a shaker, add 2.5 oz. caramel vodka and 3 oz. apple cider.
- Add ice and shake until the mixer is frosted.
- Strain into a coupe glass.
- Garnish and cheers!
What about a brown sugar or caramel rim?
You can absolutely make a fun rim for this drink. In my past experiences making caramel or sugar rims, everything just gets way too sticky. Like everything. I feel like the most random things somehow get sticky when dealing with caramel, sugar, or simple syrups.
