Copycat McDonald's Pancake Recipe

Next time you're craving pancakes, you have to try this copycat McDonald's pancake recipe! They make the best breakfast that you will be obsessed with.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 5 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 4 tablespoon Oil

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: eggs, milk, and vegetable oil.
  • Add in your dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Whisk until just fully incorporated.
  • In a frying pan or griddle over medium heat, melt ½ tablespoon of butter, or spray with a non-stick cooking spray.
  • Now that your pan is preheated, using an ice cream scooper or a ¼ measuring cup spoon, spoon your pancake batter onto the pan.
  • Let the pancake cook for 2-3 minutes, or until you start to see bubbles popping up.
  • Using a spatula, flip the pancakes and let cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, this should give you the perfect golden brown pancake.
  • Continue this process until your batter is gone.
  • Serve right away with a drizzle of maple syrup and a pat of butter.

Notes

Substitutions and variations

Mix-Ins. McDonald's hotcakes don't have anything added in the, but this is a great base pancake recipe! You can add chocolate chips, fresh berries, sliced bananas, and all your favorite toppings to this recipe to really make it your own. 
Milk. You can use whatever milk you prefer, even if that is plant-based milk.
