Kit Kat Cookies

If you love Kit Kat bars, you'll love these Kit Kat cookies! It's such a fun twist on traditional chocolate chip cookies. Let's get to baking!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ c. butter
  • c. granulated sugar
  • ½ c. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ½ c. flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ c. Kit Kats chopped
  • ½ c. chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix together your flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In a bowl of your stand mixer or a bowl with an electric mixer, add in your room temp butter and both sugars. Blend until the butter and sugars and mixed together and are nice and fluffy.
  • Add your egg to your butter/sugar mixture and mix well. Once your egg is incorporated, add your vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Slowly, add your dry mix to your wet.
  • Once it is just mixed fully together, fold in your chunks of Kit Kat and chocolate chips. Be sure to save extra Kit Kat for the top of your cookies!
  • Using a 2 tablespoon cookie scoop, fill up your baking sheet, and add extra chunks of candy on top.
  • Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Once done, using a spatula, transfer to a wire rack to cool. Repeat the process of scooping your cookie dough onto the baking sheet and baking for 8-10 minutes.
  • Allow for the cookies to cool slightly before eating or store them in an airtight container for later.
