Yes, you totally can! It's such a great way to cook frozen fries because they turn out crispy every single time. I love cooking frozen fries in the air fryer year-round, but this recipe is especially useful in the summer.
The great thing about this air fryer fries recipe is that it's so hands-off. Other than shaking the air fryer basket halfway through cooking, there's nothing needed on your end!
1. Preheat your air fryer to 400F. If you air fryer doesn't have a preheat setting, place it at 400F and let it run, empty, for 5 minutes. 2. Add in your sweet potato fries. The amount of fries will vary based on the size of your air fryer basket. Fill the basket with the frozen fries, fill it just enough so the bottom of the basket is covered. Try not to overlap, but if there is, that's ok! 3. Air fry for 6 minutes at 400F. Shake. Air fry for 6 more minutes. Cook for an additional 2 minutes depending on your air fryer and preference. 4. Allow to cool for a few minutes and pair with your favorite dipping sauce to enjoy.
I love going the savory route with sweet potato fries. So, I like adding garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. You can absolutely toss them in cinnamon brown sugar if you want to go the sweet route, and pair it with marshmallow fluff. Like dessert on a plate!
