Candy Cookies
These Halloween candy cookies are one of my favorite ways to use leftover Halloween candy. They're like chocolate chip cookies, but a million times better!
Ingredients
- 2 ½ c. all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ c. butter room temp
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- ½ c. white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 ½ c. chocolate candy chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350F.
- In a separate bowl, combine your flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk and set aside.
- In your stand mixer or general mixing bowl, mix together your butter, brown sugar and white sugar.
- Once that is combined, mix in one egg at a time. Once your eggs are mixed, add in your vanilla.
- With your mixer on the slowest speed, slowly add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients.
- Once they are just mixed together, fold in your candy.
- Do not chill this dough! Once the candy is folded in, scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough balls. Roll and place on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
- Chop up the remaining 1 cup of candy and place a few pieces on top of each dough ball.
- Bake at 350F for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- You'll have to bake in batches until the dough is gone.
- Allow to cool, slightly, and enjoy!
