Preheat your oven to 350F.
In a separate bowl, combine your flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk and set aside.
In your stand mixer or general mixing bowl, mix together your butter, brown sugar and white sugar.
Once that is combined, mix in one egg at a time. Once your eggs are mixed, add in your vanilla.
With your mixer on the slowest speed, slowly add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients.
Once they are just mixed together, fold in your candy.
Do not chill this dough! Once the candy is folded in, scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough balls. Roll and place on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
Chop up the remaining 1 cup of candy and place a few pieces on top of each dough ball.
Bake at 350F for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
You'll have to bake in batches until the dough is gone.
Allow to cool, slightly, and enjoy!
