Fizzy "Skinny" Margarita with Sparkling Water

Katie Kelly

If you are looking for a low-calorie margarita recipe, this margarita with sparkling water will be one of your favorites! It's crisp and refreshing and it's fun to play around with all the different sparkling water flavors.

Here’s what you need for a skinny margarita with sparkling water.

Fresh Lime. Depending on what flavor of sparkling water you use, you can opt for fresh lime, lemon, or orange.  Light Agave. Some sparkling water isn't super sweet, so I like to add a touch of sweetness with light agave. Sparkling Water. Like I said, for this recipe, I used the key lime sparkling water from ALDI. I really like ALDI's sparkling water flavors, some come in bottles and some come in cans. I like the bottles since I can seal the bottle and use the sparkling water for a few days without it getting too flat. Tequila. I use Hornitos tequila, naturally, I went to Costco and bought the Costco size for summer. Another tequila I really like is Cazadores. But for margaritas, I always recommend using Blanco tequila.

How do you make this fizzy margarita?

1. In your margarita glass, squeeze ¼ of a lime and add ¼ tsp of light agave. 2. Add in your ice. 3. Add your 2 oz. of tequila and top with sparkling water. 4. Give it a mix with a spoon and enjoy!
