This lemon whiskey mule, otherwise known as the Irish Mule is one of my favorite Moscow mule variations. The combination of Irish Whiskey, fresh lemon, and ginger beer is so refreshing.
I love either type of mule. Irish Mules are always fun to make around St. Patrick's Day and they are super easy drinks to make for guests if you're looking for easy drink recipes for a St. Patrick's Day party. The Kentucky Mule is also delicious and perfect for a summer night. I think the flavor of the bourbon and the ginger are just so fresh and tastes like you're sipping on a sunset.
You can use whatever whiskey you like. I like making an Irish Mule with Jameson, or I like making a Kentucky Mule with Bulleit Bourbon.
