Fruity Pebbles Treats

Katie Kelly

These Fruity Pebbles Treats are seriously the BEST. I think they are way better than Rice Krispie Treats, and they are the perfect no-bake summer dessert recipe.

Are Fruity Pebbles and Rice Krispies the same? No! Fruity Pebbles are the fruity, sweeter version of Rice Krispies. How many cups of cereal are in a box of Fruity Pebbles? When I measured my 11 oz. box, I got 7.5 cups of cereal out of it.

Ingredients

– 7.5 cups fruity pebbles or one 11 oz. box – 1 stick butter – 1 bag marshmallows – 1 tsp vanilla extract

How to make rice crispy treats with Fruity Pebbles

1. Spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick spray or butter it. Set aside. 2. Over medium heat, melt your stick of butter 3. Reduce the heat to low, pour your marshmallows and vanilla and stir until melted. Do not stop stirring. 4. Once marshmallows are melted, remove them from the heat. Pour in the Fruity Pebbles and fold the melted marshmallow mix with the cereal. 5. Once everything is evenly mixed, pour it into your greased 9x13 pan. You can use your spoon or parchment paper to press the treats evenly into the dish. 6. Allow for the treats to cool in the fridge for minimum 30 minutes.

Can you make Fruity Pebble treats with marshmallow fluff? Yes! You will need to use 10 oz or 3 cups of marshmallow fluff in place of the regular marshmallows. You will melt the marshmallow fluff with butter, just like you do with regular marshmallows. The only difference will be the time it takes for the marshmallow and butter to come together.
