Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb Ground Italian Sausage I normally buy Hot Italian Sausage
  • 2-3 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 24 oz Jarred Marinara Sauce
  • 1 16 oz Box of Rigatoni
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella or Italian Blend Cheese
  • 2 tablespoon dried Oregano to top, optional

Instructions

  • In a medium to large frying pan, over medium-high heat, pour your 2 tablespoon of oil into the pan with your 2-3 minced garlic cloves. Ground and half-way cook your sausage for about 10 minutes, until half-way cooked.
  • Pour your entire jar of Marinara Sauce over the sausage, mix well and bring the bolognese to a simmer. Reduce your heat to medium-low and allow the sausage and sauce to simmer together for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • While your bolognese sauce is simmering, preheat your oven to 350 and bring a large pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, pour in your noodles and cook until Al Dente, about 7 minutes.
  • Drain your noodles and run cold water over them to avoid them sticking while waiting for your sauce to be done.
  • Once the 20 minutes is done and your sauce is cooked, transfer your pasta and sauce to a large bowl, mix the sauce and pasta together.
  • In a 9x11 (or 9x13) pan, pour your mixed pasta and sauce into the pan. Top with 2 cups shredded cheese and 2 tablespoon oregano.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, and then after 20 minutes, broil on high for 5 minutes.
  • Let it cool enough to eat and enjoy!
