White Wine Moscow Mules

White Wine Moscow Mules

Anything with Ginger in it (or ginger flavored), count me in. I love the flavor of ginger, from drinks to my stir fry, I will eat it in anything I can. So, naturally, I love Moscow Mules.

Last Friday, I wanted to make a cocktail to go with some sauteedΒ Peach and Strawberry bruschetta (recipe coming soon- just you all wait.) I was thinking of making a sangria, but I already have two recipes for sangria’s on here. Can’t be THAT big of a repeat offender.

Thus, I created this White Wine Moscow Mule. The local Jewel only had Not Your Father’s Hard Ginger Ale- which tasted pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised considering I think that Root Beer beer is really gross, like so gross (sorry if I offended anyone).

As for the white wine, you can use any kind you like. I have made this drink twice now, one time being with a Pinot Grigio and once being with a Sauvignon Blanc. Both turned out great.

I personally didn’t cut it with any tonic water or anything. Unless you count the lime juice I squeezed into it as cutting it, this bad boy is straight alcohol. I mean, we have worked all week- we deserve it, right? Well, that’s what I’m telling myself.
