Smoothie bowls are super fun to have for breakfast. That, or I’m easily amused. Honestly, either or. This strawberry banana matcha smoothie bowl is a great smoothie bowl, and still Whole30 friendly.
Banana’s are allowed on the Whole30, but they aren’t listed as one of the “best” fruits. I was going to include mango in this as well, but didn’t want it to be too much fruit and too high in sugar. I keep on forgetting (classic) that I have matcha powder in my cabinet, and figured it was about time to make another recipe with it.
I wanted to keep the fruit count low, so instead of topping my smoothie bowl with more fruit, I topped it with walnuts (can you all tell I recently bought a bag of only one type of nut and it’s walnuts?), chia seeds and more matcha powder.
