Book Bites: October Edition

Book Bites: October Edition

Can you all believe it is already November? Seriously, where did the time go? With October officially at an end, I would like to share the books that I read and the books I have on deck next. Ever since I graduated, I have been reading like crazy. It helps that I have a 50 minute train ride to and from work- that allows for a lot of reading. Without further ado, here are the books that I have read in October

  1. Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern- I really liked this book. There are so many stories that all come together to one, along with a whole fantasy aspect. It is a very intricate plot, and an incredibly interesting book.
  2. Where’d You Go, Bernadette? by Maria Semple- This book was just crazy. It starts out with the daughter, Bee, asking what happened to her mother. Then it flashbacks and then begins the story line. Honestly, I would say nothing like this would ever happen- but after watching some of those Bravo “The Real Housewives”… I wouldn’t be surprised if this happened in real life! The book is put together by various e-mails and letters, but it is constantly told from Bee’s perspective.
  3. Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll.. This book is told from one girl, TifAni (Ani)’s perspective. You can try to put the pieces of the puzzle together before they come together- but good luck with that. I highly recommend this book.

These were the three books I read in October, on deck for November is A Piece of Cake, The 4-Hour Body, Salt Sugar Fat, and A Spool of Blue Thread. Anybody have other book recommendations? What have you all read this past month?!
