Everything but the Bagel Hummus

I’m not sure if this is still an unknown thing or not, but Trader Joe’s has Everything But the Bagel Seasoning. You get all the goodness that goes on top of an everything bagel, in one jar of phenomenaaaaaaal seasoning. I’ve been adding it onto roasted veggies, avocado, and now I added it into HUMMUS.

I had friends over this weekend for a little housewarming party, and the menu included this hummus, my parents homemade salsa, watermelon cucumber feta and mint bruschetta and buffalo cauliflower… I had no leftovers, so I thiiiiiiink it’s safe to say people enjoyed them.

As for this Everything but the Bagel Hummus… I didn’t have tahini, so this hummus is a grand total of 4 ingredients (lumping together all of the seasonings used). It took me about 5 minutes to make, and it took my friends even less than that to eat the entire bowl. To say that I will be making this again for myself is 100% accurate.

But then again, if I wasn’t going to make something again… I probably wouldn’t be posting it on here. For this hummus, I added in extra garlic, salt and pepper along with the Everything but the Bagel Hummus. Because, the more garlic the better.

Everything but the Bagel Hummus


  • 2 cans garbanzo beans
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Everything but the Bagel Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • salt and peper to taste


  1. combine all your ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth. If the 1/2 cup of olive oil isn't enough, you can add in 1 tbsp of water at a time to get the hummus to a consistency that you like.
